PVA Fibers are very suitable for reinforcing concrete objects such as kitchen countertops, sinks, furniture and art objects.
PVA Fibers (Polyvinyl alcohol) are high-quality reinforcement fibers for concrete and mortar. Because PVA fibers prevent (hair) crack formation, they are suitable for many different applications. PVA fibers are elastic, have a high tensile strength and good binding power. The fibers are resistant to alkalis in concrete, UV light and wear. PVA fibers adhere up to 300% better to concrete and mortars.
The single fibers are available in three thicknesses (deniers):
- 7 – length 6 mm
- 15 – length 8 mm
- 100 – length 13 mm
Due to the fine structure of the fibers, the fibers are barely visible to the naked eye on the surface of the product. Larger fibers will be visible sooner, but can be processed in higher doses. Shorter fibers are more likely to clump when mixed.
