Description
This trowel is made of Lexan (polycarbonate). It is lighter and prevents the metal surface of a traditional magnesium or aluminum trowel from transferring color to the concrete. For this reason, it is the only trowel that should be used when pouring white concrete.
Once the top of the project is level, use the Lexan trowel to further level and smooth the surface while opening the pores of the fresh concrete, allowing excess water to evaporate and air to escape. Once the concrete is firm enough and all excess water has evaporated, use the Chrome Finishing Trowel for the final finishing touch. This will prevent staining or discoloration when making white concrete.
